USA Alumnae Society
For alumnae who wish to stay involved and give back, the Alumnae Society offers a variety of opportunities. Alumnae contribute to the sisterhood through volunteering, donating or honoring fellow members.
Volunteer
Volunteers have the satisfaction of knowing they play a key role in the success of a Chapter and the National Organization. Volunteers build close relationships with collegians and other alumnas. Discover the truth of the saying, “the more you give, the more you receive” and apply for one or more of the positions listed below.
Regional Delegate
Kappa Beta Gamma’s Alumnae members are divided into six geographical areas called regions. Each region is served by a team of Regional Delegates (RDs).
Be responsible for growing and supporting the engaged alumnae community in your region.
Lead, guide and impact recent graduates and alumnae in your region.
Work cooperatively with the alumnae board to promote excellence in alumnae member development.
Chapter Mentor
The Alumnae Society coordinates the chapter mentorship program which educates and assigns an alum mentor to each undergraduate chapter.
Listen, assist and inspire a collegiate chapter.
Share your sorority experience and knowledge with fellow mentors to build stronger undergraduate chapters.
Work cooperatively with the national board to promote excellence in collegiate member development.
Additional Volunteer Positions
Mentorship Chair
Oversee the assignment, education and interaction of our chapter mentors.
Sisterhood Chair
Create engagement opportunities for alumnae members by planning, promoting, and executing of Alum Society events.
Social Media Specialist
Assist alumnae officers with marketing and promotion of the Alumnae Society.
Philanthropy Chair
This position would assist with organizing philanthropy events and fundraising for The Society and active chapters.
Historian
Research, compile and update the national archives with current and historical information.
Donate
Active Sister Scholarship Fund
The Alumnae Society sponsors and fundraises for the Active Sister Scholarship Fund. Each semester a number of collegiate sisters are given a $100 scholarship that is applied towards their National membership dues. The donations are distributed semesterly. To donate to the fund click the DONATE button below and write “active sister scholarship” in the memo.”
Supporters can also donate directly to a specific chapter by writing the chapter’s name in the memo section.
Each donation, no matter how small, lessens financial stress for our collegiate sisters.
The Alumnae Society recognizes two levels of lifetime donations with a special pin:
The Fidelity Award at $500
The 1917 Circle at $1,917
Honor
The Alumnae Society loves to honor the members who have positively impacted our sisterhood, their community and/or their profession. Each year we award the following honors at Konvention.
Alumnae of Distinction: awarded to any Alumnae Society member who demonstrated extraordinary service to the Sisterhood.
Big Sister of the Year: awarded to the one Alumnae Society member who has contributed the most to the sisterhood.
Eva Johnson Award: awarded to the alum who most distinguished themselves professionally.
Georgia Klein Award: awarded to the alum who most distinguished themselves through service.
Sapphire Stars: awarded throughout the year to any alum who is doing outstanding things in their profession and/or their community.

Each and every member who has worn the letters Kappa Beta Gamma contributed to the sisterhood in their own way. For those who are no longer with us, we keep them forever in our hearts by inducting them into the Omega Chapter. To add someone to our Omega Chapter please fill out the form below.
